Hyperdance testimonial - Lucy

'I had always wanted to take hip hop classes. So mid 2009 i decided, okay..im just gonna do it! So i started at hyperdance, in Davids beginner hip hop class, really nervous and not knowing anyone and it has been absolutely fantastic! Every class is just so great and so much fun and i ALWAYS walk out feeling happy and energised. It is also the place to learn hip hop because it is proper hip hop and it doesnt get watered down for us. David is a really talented and great teacher, very paitent, which definately makes the difference.

I have made some really, really good friends through it as well, which i never expected, and i think this is because of the wonderful environment Christina and David have created at Hyperdance. It is so welcoming, to absolutely anyone no matter what your age or skill level, and so professional but not at all scary or imnimidating. I can't imagine not doing these classes...i look forward to them every week and always come out smiling!

Hyperdance testimonial - MichaelHi! I started out doing Christina's jazz/funk class in 2007 and also joined up for Dave's Hip Hop class in mid 2007. When I first started, I felt particularly nervous having come in with no previous dance experience whatsoever, but I’ve continued to come to classes and I'm still there to date and loving it! Both Dave's and Christina's classes are a lot of fun with a dash of crazy, provide a good workout and don't push beyond your comfort level. The main things I've gotten out of doing these classes are confidence to freestyle (or any dance at all!) in front of people, overall dance experience and a literal inability to not stop myself when I hear a good song or one from an old routine (thanks guys).

Christina and Dave are both able to mix up styles, guy and girl specific stuff to cater for everybody in a routine and make sure that everyone is going ok and having fun. From my experience, the people in class are friendly, are all there to have fun and are quite willing to help each other out. I invite you to come and see. You won’t be disappointed.

Hyperdance testimonial - Anikka

I really wanted to get back into dancing, and I was lucky enough to stumble across Hyperdance! Im glad that i did – i now do two classes with Christina, and Wednesday evenings have become the highlight of the weekdays! The classes are a great mix of exercise, technical steps and routines, along with a lot of fun. I have definately increased my fitness level since i joined Hyperdance! Classes consist of a great variety of girls and guys - from uni students to busy mums, beginners and experienced dancers. Its great to be with a group of people who have a joke and a laugh together. Ive met some awesome people, and made many strong friendships. Christina is passionate teacher, who gets to know each and every student. She treats you more as a friend than as a student, and shes very approachable. Her airconditioned studio is well located, with lots of nearby carparking. From the first class, Ive been glad I Give Christina a call - give it a go.

Hyperdance testimonial - TanyaHyperdance is fantastic. Christina is one of the most positive and kind hearted people you will ever meet. Most people are extremely nervous when starting but Christina puts you at ease instantly. The classes are a huge amount of fun and you get the bonus of a good workout. There’s no competition or criticism in the classes. You aren’t expected to have any previous dance skills and age doesn’t matter. Without even realising, I found that it has helped build my confidence and self esteem and has me pushing myself outside my comfort zone in a safe and positive environment. Hyperdance is a great way to have fun, meet people and get some excercise all at the same time. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Hyperdance testimonial - Morgan My name is Morgan & I started classes with Hyperdance earlier this year. I had done a lot of dance as a teenager and was looking to get back into it in a non competitive & social environment. After a ten year break making the initial call and attending my first class was nerve-racking, but I needn’t have worried. Christina was very approachable and I have found her to be a friendly, patient and enthusiastic teacher who is genuinely concerned for her students. Her love of dance shows in her classes. They are a great, workout and include everything from developing technique, freestyle and learning fun routines. The warm up is also fantastic, you get a great mix of cardio, back and ab exercises, pilates and flexibility. Each week I am excited to get to class and after only one term I have lost weight, am fitter and healthier and feel great – and I've had fun doing it! I cannot recommend Christina and Hyperdance highly enough, I wish I had found her years ago!

Hyperdance testimonial - BelindaI love Hyperdance! Since starting dancing with Christina about a year ago I have discovered many things about myself, from a love of performing I haven’t experienced since I was about 5 years old (if at all) and with that a new confidence in myself, to experiencing a natural high which is amazing.

Finally (and most importantly for me) it's a great workout and a workout that is so interesting, fun and cool that I don’t even realise I’ve had a work out until the end of the class when my whole body is exhausted. I love it and hope to continue dancing with Hyperdance for a long time to come.

Hi, My name's Ben and I started classes with Christina in mid 2007 to help get a bit more diversity from other dance styles like salsa. The classes are really great and are the ultimate exercise programme. You get a great 15 minute cardio work-out, a chance to either learn fundamentals or do some free styling, learn fantastic routines and finally a nice relaxing cool down. Best of all though is that it's heaps of fun and you get to meet a fantastic bunch of people who all love to dance.
Christina's a great teacher and if you are interested in a challenge and having fun then Hyperdance is the place to do it.

My name is Caitlin and I started with Hyperdance about two months ago. I was looking for a hip-hop/dance class that challenged me on a fitness and flexibility level, as well as teaching me fun and original dance routines and Christina's class is doing just that. I have been to other dance companies before, but there was always something missing that stopped me from going back. Either the teacher wasn't interested in my progress or making sure we got the steps correct, or the standards were set too high. I found that Christina is a devoted teacher who always works closely with her students, and strives to pass on her enthusiasm and love for dance in her teaching. She is heaps of fun and you can't help but have fun in her class. I also think its great that there are no requirements to join the class. You don't have to have danced before to be able to join in and Christina will help you out all the way, no matter what level you are at.
The other thing I love about Christina's class at Hyperdance (aside from the dancing itself!) is the warm-up. It's a great workout that works on cardio, core strength (back and abs), and flexibility. So not only do you get to dance and have fun, but you get the benefits of a thorough workout through both the warm up and the dancing.
I am having such an awesome time in the beginners class and enjoying the extra fitness, I asked to join a second one class. Christina encouraged me to challenge myself and tackle the intermediate class. I now do two classes a week and I still want more!! Christina keeps me updated on workshops and guest teachers so I can learn more styles and challenge myself further. I truly recommend this class to anyone and everyone, all you need is a passion for dance and fun and Christina will help with the rest.

Hyperdance is the best way to have fun and get fit at the same time. I started the adult beginners class in 2007. I then went overseas for one year, and when I came back I was able step right back into it.
I am now doing the intermediate class and absolutely loving it, I also do the beginners class for extra fitness.
Christina's teaching style is awesome, she gives you a great workout with easy to learn choreography, in a professional, relaxed, fun and friendly way.
I am so glad I started with Hyperdance.

Wow what an amazing dance place and what a teacher. Before i stated with hyperdance i never had the confidence to do a class. I was shy, intimidated and scared. Then i spoke with christina and she gave me the confidence to come and try a class. Now i couldn't picture myself anywhere else. Class starts with a short cardio workout at the start, then we move onto the dancing were christina breaks down the routine for us all to learn and if you don't get it straight away there is no need to stress because the amazing christina is happy to help you in any way. Since i have started with christina at hyperdance i have a new confidence about me and i love standing at the front of class now to. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my dancing and neither should you. I have never met a more dedicated teacher to her students and she's even nicer in person. Hyperdance is an outstanding dance company and christina is even better.
