FAQ
How many people are in the class?
Hyperdance classes have up to 20 students, however classes are never overloaded as we pride ourselves on giving individual attention to students if needed. Our studio at Level 2, 167 Gouger St (above Matsuri restaurant.) can comfortably handle our class sizes.
What clothing do I wear?
Anything comfortable that you can stretch and move around in, such as a tracksuit. It is advisable to wear your hair back and no dangly earrings or jewellery is permitted.
What shoes do I wear?
For Hyperdance and Hip Hop classes sneakers without too much grip are recommended.
For Contemporary classes, bare feet, ballet shoes or socks.
For Hip Hop n' Heels classes, heels which are low-medium height with a fairly wide heel are recommended. A shoe with a strap or an ankle boot is a good idea. No stillettos.
Are the classes for both males and females?
Yes. The choreography and movements done in the classes are suitable for both sexes.
How old are the students?
Adult classes are for age 18 onwards. There is no age limit in the adult classes. Teen classes are for age 13-16.
What happens after I finish the first term?
When you have finished your first term you will progress to the next level and begin a new dance routine, as well as continuing on with learning technique and freestyle.
What happens if I don't like the class once I have enrolled?
We are so confident that you will love our classes that we offer a 100% money back guarantee. If you decide not to continue on after your first lesson we will give you a full refund.
